Buying rare breed meat
The RBST encourages the general public to buy rare breed meat
'If you do not eat them, then members cannot afford to breed them'
The RBST promotes the Traditional Breeds Meat Marketing Scheme (TBMMS) to establish a chain of distribution through carefully selected butchers up and down the country.See link.
There are also other companies that sell rare breed lamb, beef, pork, chickens etc. We hope to be able to link to these at some future time, pending a decision from HQ. If you cannot get rare breed meat in Devon and would like to - please conatct one of the Devon committee.
And they taste great!!
