We had an Exciting AGM
This year we were again at the Cowick Barton Inn in Exeter . Before the meeting most people met in the bar at about 6:30 and had drinks and food and a good old chat.

This year, we again had a super speaker. Paul Gompertz came along and give us a 60 minute or so presentation about the Devon Wild Life Trust and its current focus. |
The key thing that occurred was that we all got very depressed as he outlined what man is doing to destroy wildlife and thus our own habitat in the UK and in Devon in particularly. He then went on to show some very positive steps that they and others are doing about it - report on presentation to follow. As a result of this presentation several members got very fired up and the committee is now considering a major joint project with them. You can learn a lot about the trust from their website
