About the show
This year's show was a great success with record numbers of animals on show. The show has a section for rare breeds which our members sported well. Each day there is a grand parade of all the best there is with farm animals. Bringing the rear of the parade is a notable number of rare breeds, which always get great attention from the crowd. If you are stood next to an old farmer, you can hear them say things like "I remember having some of them in the fifties" or "You will never make any money with such small animals"
Our Stand
Members kindly ran a rota so the stand was covered for all three days. Children of all ages enjoyed meeting some of our animals which had come along for "meet the visitors". If what the visitors wanted to see were say on the show stands, then we would ferry them around to the relevant stand and put them in touch with the owners.
