Devon County Show 2006
A great show
On the final day we had a first for rare breeds - the show ground was so wet that the parade was cut short to 'walk in, stand and be admired and then turn around and walk out' As the primitive sheep are always always last, it meant that on the way out - they were first!! They were well admired by many who had not previously noticed them
The star of the RBST stand was the Longhorn with calf. And the stars at the sheep showing were a school who showed Hebridean - they did not win, but were excellent ambassadors for the rare breeds - seen below in the young handler competition
| Supreme champion on the right with reserve to the left | Bored rams | Sheep in the stand | They attracted many youngsters |
