Kingsbridge show could not have sheep or cattle at it this year due to the Foot and Mouth restrictions, which was a shame as the show organisers had kindly arranged for a new category in the sheep section in which we could show rare and other traditional sheep - so next year we will have to go in force.
The show was well attended on a lovely day - not too hot, not too cold. In our usual tent we had all the usual RBST and members displays, a guess the weight competition and Peter's wonderful array of geese, ducks etc in their own large pond. As we could not take sheep or goats for inside the tent, extra rare breed poultry were taken, which proved to be very popular with the crowds
