We met the new Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Richard Clarke took up his position on Monday 8th January 2007 and it was his intention to meet all Support Groups at his earliest opportunity - meeting with those in the South West on Saturday 10th Feb 2007.
The session was informal after a very short presentation of his early findings. The meeting was very lively and constructive and we all came away thinking that if Richard could deliver on what he thinks is right, then the whole organisation will be the better for it - not to mention the animals.
Everyone there got involved, and felt that they were not only being listened to, but that the ideas and input was going to be made use of.
It was a motivational and enjoyable session.
AND, the lunch was absolutely brilliant - one of the best buffet lunches we have had.
